The HAV Memories & Storage Solutions R&D team in Egypt is looking for 2 summer interns to work as SW Development Interns (AI‑Assisted Development).

The SSP is our formal internship programs at SIEMENS Software. You will be mentored by guides and work directly with costumers to create direct business impact and again invaluable professional experience!

The program is a 2 months summer internship in July/August 2026. There will be opportunity to learn and contribute in a variety of areas of the software development process, with emphasis on a number of achievable projects to both encourage your development and deliver something useful.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and implement software components
• Add basic testing for implemented features, running test suite and investigating failures.
• Leverage modern development tools and AI-assisted technologies to automate and optimize development workflows.
• Document implemented features and contribute to technical discussions and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required skills, knowledge and experience

• 3rd or 4th year Student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong foundation in C++ and OOP.
• Good knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, Perl, or Python.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Experience in using Linux/Unix OS is a plus.
• Self-Motivated, attentive to details and able to work independently.
• Able to demonstrate good analysis and problem-solving skills
• Team player and willing to collaborate within a team environment.
• Highly developed communication and presentation skills
