Job Location: Plano, TX and various unanticipated locations throughout the US
Job Type: Full Time
Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Plano, TX is $112,923.00 - $197,700.00 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. In addition, this position is eligible for time off in accordance with Company policies, including paid sick leave, paid parental leave, PTO (for non-exempt employees) or non-accrued flexible vacation (for exempt employees).
Duties: Design, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products (both internal and external) with high quality and on time delivery. Ensure overall functional quality of released products on all required platforms. Work with complex products, solutions, and problems. Create and document software designs which may involve multiple product areas. Coordinate work with team members in multiple time zones throughout the world. Provide physical simulation and analysis tools used by engineers and physical scientists to understand and design physical systems.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering (any) or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
1. Researching, designing, implementing, and debugging software algorithms in serial and in parallel.
2. Solving problems in numerical analysis, computational geometry, and software engineering.
3. Develop workflows for the analysis of engineering simulations.
4. Working with application areas including fluid dynamics, solid stress, and acoustics.
5. C++ Programming.
Telecommuting and/or working from home is permissible pursuant to company policy. [Remote role]
