Position Overview

Join our team in Cairo as an IC Design Consultant and become a trusted technical advisor to our customers. You'll support the adoption and deployment of Siemens' Calibre technologies in the design of complex integrated circuits, helping customers meet their technical objectives. Working alongside a collaborative team, you'll employ various tools and techniques to support the development and enablement of Calibre physical verification flows. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your expertise in semiconductor design while building strong customer relationships and making a direct impact on product success.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver consulting services covering a broad range of physical verification activities and customer objectives
• Enable customer adoption of the full capabilities of Calibre EDA software and methodologies
• Effectively communicate how Siemens' products and services address customer technical objectives
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers through technical excellence and responsiveness
• Collaborate with team members to ensure mutual success and knowledge sharing
• Travel to customer sites for short or long durations to provide on-site technical support and training

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related field - or equivalent
• Knowledge of Backend Layout Design and Verification
• Familiarity with Siemens' Physical Verification tools (Calibre DRC/LVS/xRC/PERC)
• Programming experience in Linux and Python
• Ability to travel and work at customer sites for extended periods
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share knowledge effectively

Preferred:

• Experience in a similar consulting or application engineering role
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of advanced verification methodologies

Our Benefits & Rewards

The total cash compensation range for this position is USD 23,600 to USD 84,500 with 20% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target (100% achievement). The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
