Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
We're hiring a Senior Electronic Design Engineer, to join our R&D team based out of our office in Breda. This multicultural team is made up of Electronic Hardware Design Engineers (Analog and Mixed Signal), Layout Engineers and Test Engineers. We are responsible for the design of analog and digital hardware, embedded software, firmware, driver and application software. Together with the Firmware and FPGA team you will be developing high quality products starting from requirements management to introduction in the factory (end to end).

You'll create impact by:
- Develop Cutting-Edge Systems: Focus on high accuracy, linearity, stability, and dynamic range while developing board-level analog electronic systems and circuits, ensuring innovation, quality, and reliability throughout the development process.
- Define and Improve Specifications: Use both theoretical and statistical approaches to define and enhance product specifications.
- Collaborate in Multidisciplinary Teams: Represent the Hardware team in multidisciplinary design teams, analyze requirements, and translate them into effective designs.
- Build and Maintain Products: Define, realize, and maintain various electronics building blocks and products for both existing and new Siemens products.
- Utilize Advanced Design Techniques: Employ analog design techniques for signal/sensor conditioning, anti-alias filtering, and analog to digital conversion.
- Design Precision Circuits: Create low-noise and precision circuits, ensuring immunity against unwanted signals.
- Work with Layout Engineers: Collaborate closely with Engineers to achieve optimal results.
- Conduct Thermal Simulations: Perform thermal simulations and apply signal processing principles.
- Perform Noise and Error Analysis: Use theoretical calculations, Spice simulations, and Monte-Carlo analysis to conduct analysis.
- Analyze Measurement Data: Improve specifications by analyzing measurement data.
- Automate Data Analysis: Use tools like Mathcad and Mathematica to automate and visualize results.
- Document Development Efforts: Provide traceable verification of product tests and document development efforts accurately.
You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
- Proven experience in Electronic Hardware Development
- Electronic Hardware Design (designing analog and mixed signal electronics)
- Experience in following tools is a plus: LTSPICE, Mentor toolset (Xpedition, SI, thermal, etc), Office 365, MATLAB, Mathematica, LabVIEW
