Siemens EDA is one of the top tier suppliers in the Electronic Design Automation industry and part of Siemens DI. As a technology leader, the company offers innovative solutions for electronic hardware and software design.
We are looking for a highly motivated and capable Software Engineer to join the R&D team developing Design-for-Test (DFT) tools as part of the industry-leading Tessent product line. These advanced tools are vital to silicon validation of integrated circuits and used by the world’s leading semiconductor companies.
Development will be done in C++ on a Linux platform. The candidate must be able to design and implement high-quality, very efficient, and maintainable software solutions to complex problems. Additionally, the candidate is expected to be a fast learner and self starter, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work effectively within a distributed team.
The position can be in-office or hybrid at our location in Poznan, Poland.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors (or higher) in Computer/Electrical Engineering, or other related field.
- C++ programming experience.
- Understanding of software architecture best practices and object-oriented programming.
- Excellent and creative problem-solving skills, including skills with algorithms and data structures.
- At least basic knowledge of digital logic design.
- Attention to details and high-quality work.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hardware description languages: Verilog, SystemVerilog or VHDL will be a strong plus.
- Experience with software development on Linux, and development tools such as Git.
- Knowledge of machine learning methodologies.
