The Verification Consulting Team in Egypt is looking for a summer intern to work as a Digital Twin Intern.

The SSP is our formal internship programs at SIEMENS Software. You will be mentored by guides and work directly with costumers to create direct business impact and again invaluable professional experience!

The program is a 2 months summer internship in July/August 2026 (extended to 6 months internship for this role). There will be opportunity to learn and contribute in a variety of areas of the software development process, with emphasis on a number of achievable projects to both encourage your development and deliver something useful.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a generic, reusable 3D visualization client compatible with the VSI co-simulation framework.
• Ensure seamless signal mapping and communication between VSI clients and the visualization layer.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Python and C++ code.

Required skills, knowledge and experience:

• 3rd or 4th year Student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong Python and C++ scripting and development skills
• Preferred: Knowledge of PID controllers and control systems fundamentals
• Preferred: Experience with 3D visualization tools (e.g., Simcenter 3D, PyBullet, RViz, VPython, MuJoCo)
• Preferred: Familiarity with robotics modeling tools (e.g., ROS, URDF, MuJoCo)
• Preferred: Understanding of FMI/FMU co-simulation standards
• Team player and willing to collaborate within a team environment.
• Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
