Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
Role: Software Engineer - Test and Automation Engineer.
Perform testing and test automation of software of products and services with focus on delivering high quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the requirements, analyze and test the software
- Participate in quality assurance and maintenance
- Author, update and execute automated tests to validate the software
- Write defects found in the product
- Proactively communicate status on the Product/Release
- Develop new ideas
- Documents all processes and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree – Computer Science, Engineering, or other supplemented with real world programming experience
- Minimum two years of experience in testing enterprise level applications
- Self-driven, motivated individual who can deliver with minimal supervision
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced, Agile development environment

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- Software Testing and test automation experience with multi-tier enterprise application
- Experience in unit testing frameworks like Selenium, Junit
- Experience of working in an Agile team, especially Scrum
- Knowledge/Experience in PLM Domain
- Knowledge/Experience with DevOps
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

The salary range for this position is $87,600 to $157,700 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training. In addition, this position is eligible for time off in accordance with Company policies, including paid sick leave, paid parental leave, PTO (for non-exempt employees) or non-accrued flexible vacation (for exempt employees).
