our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
1) Common Responsibilities (PLM & 3D CAD Engineering Intern)
Develop a solid understanding of Siemens PLM and 3D CAD product portfolios, as well as Digital Twin and Digital Thread concepts.
Support presales technical teams in preparing and delivering customer demos, PoC activities, and technical workshops.
Assist in analyzing customer requirements and preparing solution proposal materials (e.g., presentation decks).
Support feature extension and customization tasks using basic programming and scripting techniques.
Perform testing, data organization, and documentation for internally developed demo or project environments.
2) PLM (Teamcenter) Track - Primary Responsibilities for LCS Placement
Understand the Teamcenter environment, installation structure, and system architecture (server/client architecture, integration landscape, etc.).
Review core frontend and backend functionalities of Teamcenter and assist in simple feature development/customization.
Analyze customer use cases from a PLM process perspective and support demo data modeling.

3) 3D CAD / Engineering Track - Primary Responsibilities for PES Placement
Learn customization methodologies for the NX 3D CAD tool based on customer requirements and support sample development.
Implement and practice custom features using NX Open with programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, or Python.
Review 3D model data, perform quality checks, and support design rule/standardization tasks.
Main Tool (3D CAD): NX CAD
Qualifications
Current students graduating in February 2026 or graduates who are eligible to participate in an internship.
Majors in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, IT-related fields, or other engineering disciplines.
Three-month internship, with potential conversion to a full-time position based on performance.
Must be available to begin work in February.
Preferred experience in software development, such as .NET, JavaScript, MSSQL/Oracle DB, C#, Java, C++, Python, etc.
Strong presentation and documentation skills; English communication ability is preferred.
Highly responsible, with strong motivation to learn new technologies (e.g., PLM, 3D CAD).
