Position Overview
Perform cross‑functional project coordination for Siemens EDA event operations, with a focus on end‑to‑end event workflow execution, reporting and analysis. This role supports the operational layer connecting strategy, planning, finance, and delivery—providing portfolio visibility, accurate budget tracking, and data-informed insights to enable consistent processes across global Siemens EDA events. The position works in close partnership with marketing programs, event operations, and finance teams to ensure reliable execution and financial discipline. Targeted for a candidate early in their career who is motivated to build skills and make an impact in a dynamic, multi-national environment.
Essential Functions:
* Event Workflow Support: Facilitate defined end‑to‑end event portfolio workflows, including intake, milestone tracking, approvals process, execution support, and close‑out, using established tools and processes.
* Budget & Financial Tracking: Collaborate on event budget tracking and finance processes such as accruals, forecasting, variances, and reconciliation in partnership with Event Operations and Finance.
* Operations, Analytics, & Reporting: Maintain and analyze operational and financial event data to produce standardized status, budget, and post‑event reports that support visibility, issue identification, and process effectiveness.
* Cross‑Functional Coordination: Coordinate assigned event projects, ensuring requirements, timelines, and dependencies are documented and communicated.
* Process Adherence & Improvement: Follow standard operating procedures and support consistent process adoption, corporate compliance, and identification of improvement opportunities.

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks within defined processes.
* Strong analytical skills, including comfort working with budgets, spreadsheets, and structured data.
* Basic knowledge of marketing and events principles and practices; Proficiency with standard productivity tools.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

* Works under close to moderate supervision and executes assigned tasks within clearly defined processes
* Escalates issues related to strategy, budgets, or program decisions to senior team members
* Success Indicators

* Assigned workflows and tasks are completed accurately and reliably
* Budget and operational data is complete and compliant; Stakeholders receive timely operational support
* Demonstrates growing proficiency, independence, and process knowledge
Education and Experience Requirement:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, sales or marketing.
* Advanced degree or internship in business management, marketing, analytics, operations, or a related field desirable.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
* Remote or hybrid role
· Will support discussions in various time zones; virtual meetings outside of home time zone will be necessary.
* 10-20% Travel: approximately once per quarter for 3-5 days; additional event-related travel as assigned.
