Position Overview:
Join our Design for Test (DFT) consulting team and make a direct impact on how complex Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) designs are tested and validated. As a DFT Consultant, you'll work alongside experienced consultants to develop deep expertise in Tessent DFT software and advanced testing methodologies. You'll partner with enterprise customers to implement and optimize DFT flows, enabling them to leverage the full power of our Tessent tool suite. This role offers the opportunity to grow your technical skills while solving real customer challenges and shaping the future of semiconductor design and test.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in a structured training program with senior consultants to develop consulting expertise and DFT technical knowledge
- Deliver consulting services across a broad range of DFT activities, including scan, ATPG, embedded compression, MBIST, and boundary scan
- Work directly with customers to implement and deploy DFT flows and methodologies
- Enable customer adoption of the full capability of Tessent software and advanced testing methodologies
- Communicate how Siemens DISW products and service offerings address customers' technical objectives and business goals
- Articulate customer technical requirements to product engineering teams and influence product direction based on market needs
- Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with customers through excellent technical support and communication
- Collaborate with team members to ensure mutual success and knowledge sharing
- Deliver Tessent-based solutions that address customer technical and business needs
- Travel occasionally worldwide to customer sites, primarily within Europe, to provide on-site consulting and support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent)
- Strong interest in applying engineering skills creatively to solve unique customer challenges
- Knowledge of DFT topics including scan, ATPG, embedded compression, MBIST, LBIST, and boundary scan
- Shell scripting and Unix knowledge
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of ASIC design and the design-to-test workflow
- Experience with Tessent DFT tools and Tessent Shell environment
- Experience with RTL-level design
- Prior consulting or customer-facing technical experience

Compensation & Benefits
The total cash compensation range for this position is $23,600 to $51,900 with 10% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target (100% achievement). The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
