We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our STS team in Cairo, Egypt.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure the smooth operation of existing legacy pipelines.
* Identify and troubleshoot pipeline issues, providing necessary support for resolution.
* Assist in updating and optimizing existing pipelines to improve efficiency and reliability.
* Work closely with senior DevOps engineers to enhance and upgrade current build, test, and automation processes.
* Contribute ideas and solutions to improve the speed, reliability, and security of pipelines.
* Participate in the design and implementation of pipeline improvements.
* Research and analyze third-party libraries and their build requirements.
* Develop and maintain recipes, scripts, or configuration files to automate the build and integration of third-party libraries into pipelines.
* Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper testing and seamless integration of third-party libraries.
* Actively engage in learning opportunities related to DevOps, continuous integration, and deployment processes.
* Collaborate with experienced DevOps professionals to build skills and technical knowledge.
Requirements:
* Proficient in Windows and Linux environments.
* Experience with containerization using Docker (on Linux and Windows) and Kubernetes.
* Scripting experience with Bash and Python.
* Knowledge of Git workflows.
* Experience with source code management tools such as GitLab, Bitbucket, and Gitea.
* Experience with pipeline management tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
