- Plan, document, execute, and maintain product testing and verification activities; perform software and emulation hardware testing to diagnose functional failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
- Design and develop test cases to validate new features using hardware description and simulation languages such as SPICE, Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS, VHDL-AMS, and SystemVerilog
- Analyze customer-reported defects and automate regression test cases to prevent future occurrences; execute test suites and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects
- Validate products against key quality attributes (FURPS), with a strong focus on performance and reliability; measure test coverage and identify quality gaps
- Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize development and validation cycle times within an Agile environment
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
- Understanding of software testing principles, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and quality assurance methodologies
- Knowledge of automated testing concepts and test case development
- Familiarity with design and simulation languages such as SPICE, Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS, VHDL-AMS, or SystemVerilog
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team while managing multiple priorities
Preferred:
- Professional experience in software testing, validation, or quality assurance
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
- Basic programming and scripting skills with experience in test automation
