Key Responsibilities:
Build an updatable document knowledge base (RAG), conduct consistency validation of multi-source process parameters, and develop C# plugins within COMOS to enable retrieval and precise document localization.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, or related information fields, with the ability to commit to a stable internship period.
* Basic programming skills: proficiency in at least one of Python or C#; Willingness to learn development related to .NET, WPF, and COM.
* Familiarity with or willingness to learn vector retrieval/RAG, text and table extraction (PDF/Office), information extraction, and data cleansing.
* Demonstrate good engineering practices: capable of writing clear README files and design documentation, and proficient in using Git for version control.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in RAG, retrieval, or knowledge base projects (e.g., embedding, BM25, reranking, chunking, citation).
* Experience in Office/PDF table extraction and structuring (e.g., pdfplumber, camelot, tabula) or document positioning and highlighting.
* Background in industrial engineering, instrumentation, or process engineering, with the ability to comprehend the semantic fields of P&ID, Line Lists, and instrument datasheets.
* Experience developing WPF/WinForms plugins, or the ability to quickly learn COMOS secondary development interfaces.
