Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Austin, TX is $149, 781 - $189,200 per year and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing software products; working with cross-functional teams including software developers, hardware engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions; developing algorithms and techniques for high performance simulation; collaborating with product management and other stakeholders to define software requirements and specifications; and conducting code reviews.
Requirements: Employer will accept a bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a Senior Software Development Engineer-related occupation.
Required experience must have included the following:
1. 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining software.
2. 5 years of experience in data structures and algorithms applicable to digital IC verification, programming in C/C++, hardware description languages (HDL), and hardware verification languages (HVL).
3. 3 years of experience in simulation techniques for digital IC verification.
4. 2 years of experience in Integrated Circuit (IC) design and digital verification for design creation, preparation, simulation and verification.
5. Working in concepts of high performance computing (HPC) involving multi-threading, multi-core and distributed computing.
Telecommuting within commuting distance may be permitted pursuant to company policy (HYBRID ROLE).
