We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer / Tech Lead to join our Calibre Semi Interfaces R&D team in Cairo, Egypt.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the design and development of software that meets requirements for functionality, usability, reliability and performance.
• Contribute to project planning, tracking and schedule estimation.
• Drive functional and design specifications, and actively participate in reviews of designs, specifications, and code.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Collaborate with other developers to manage task interdependencies and resolve product and integration issues.
• Work closely with the marketing team to understand customer needs and support their requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science.
• +6 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong proficiency in C++ programming.
• Strong experience with software algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with UI development, Qt, QML, Python, and Tcl is a plus
• A solid understanding of IC flow, semiconductor fabrication, and physical verification is a high advantage.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments.
• Strong ability to learn and innovate with new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and share knowledge.
