Join our team in Siemens Digital Industries Software as a Senior Accountant General Accounting and play a pivotal role in ensuring alignment with our global accounting standards. The Senior Accountant will also help to provide valuable insights and actionable information to our management team, while also playing a key role in shaping strategic decisions.
This position is part of the General Accounting team and reports to the Senior Manager Central Accounting. We are a dynamic and collaborative team that thrives in a fast-paced, international environment.
What role will you play?
- You will drive global standardization, optimize processes and systems and further enhance our governance framework to ensure compliance with group and local reporting guidelines.
- As part of our month and quarter-end close activities, you will prepare journal entries, reports, and analyze our financial performance.
- With passion for technology, you will support the deployment of our new SAP ERP system (S/4 Hana) including user testing and data migration.
- You will closely partner with our finance and business teams to ensure they are provided with best-in-class accounting guidance to drive our business forward.

- Have a finance/accounting degree, with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a similar role / CPA preferred.
- Display solid accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and good attention to detail.
- Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Have advanced experience with an ERP system, preferably SAP.
- Be excited to collaborate with our finance and business teams in the office for 2-3 days per week.

The salary range for this position is $82,100 to $147,800 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
