Responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanism. Ability to understand complex products, solutions, and problems. Creates, documents, and executes software designs which may involve complicated workflows or multiple product areas. Technical lead of one or more projects within one area of a product. Provides input to the technical direction for one area of a product. Occasional consults with customers in regard to future upgrades and products. Able to solve complex technical problems. Provides specialized expertise within multiple systems, software disciplines, as well as general knowledge of related disciplines, applications implications, and customer areas. As part of this journey, you will develop applications and tools required to build, deploy, and operate Teamcenter on AWS. You will provide value as an architect and a full-stack developer, contributing to back-end, front-end, IaaS, DevOps, etc.

• You can create, understand, communicate and critique architectures and software design
• You can conceive, publish and provide governance with principles, guidelines and guardrails of the architecture

• You have experience with infrastructure as code tools, ideally with Terraform, Ansible

• You can do system design for solutions in the cloud (Can you build an MVP of Dropbox?)

• You are an advanced-level programmer
• You have 12+ years of software development experience (Java or Python or similar)
• You can build full-stack/backend for applications and deploy on cloud
• You can write clear, legible, maintainable code
• You are aware of code smells and can enforce it through code reviews
• You have followed TDD/BDD principles and created automated tests
• You have a working knowledge of testing strategies and tools
• You have a good design background
• You are good in object-oriented design, development
• You are good at choosing efficient data structures and algorithms
• You have a working knowledge of design patterns/smells
• You are willing to/able to use your technical expertise to mentor, train, and lead other engineers.
