We're looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our Calibre DRC R&D in Cairo, Egypt.
Responsibilities:
* Design, enhance, implement, and deliver software that meets standards for functionality, usability, reliability, performance, and supportability.
* Work with other developers to manage dependencies, resolve integration issues, and address product workflow challenges.
* Take part in design, specification, and code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
* Support project planning by analyzing tasks, breaking down work, estimating timelines, and keeping stakeholders informed of risks and progress.
* Create functional and design specifications.
* Collaborate closely with Marketing and QA teams to understand customer needs and ensure they are reflected in the product.
Qualifications:
* B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science.
* Strong proficiency in C++ programming.
* Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
* Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
* Knowledge of IC design flow, semiconductor fabrication, or physical verification is a plus.
* Familiarity with modern C++ standards (C++11/14 and later) is a plus.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and share knowledge effectively.
