About the Role:
We are currently looking for a Renewal Sales Representative to join our regional Maintenance Sales team. In this role, you will act as a trusted account manager, responsible for renewing maintenance and SaaS subscription-based software products. Your focus will be on strengthening long-term customer relationships, negotiating renewals, and identifying opportunities to extend customer lifetime value.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the customer journey through proactive engagement and consultative partnership. This includes identifying and addressing potential challenges in areas such as product training, license deployment, and utilization. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of customer needs, account planning, and collaboration with internal teams.
This role is based in Hanoi, Vietnam with occasional travel in the region.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Drive sustainable renewal growth in the Vietnam market by managing subscription and support contract renewals.
- Prepare and deliver renewal proposals, notifications, and updates to customers ahead of contract expiration.
- Engage directly with customers and partners to consult on renewal options, including multi-year and co-term agreements, and identify upsell opportunities.
- Lead the transition from perpetual licenses to SaaS models in collaboration with customers and partners.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Pre-sales, Finance, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless renewal execution.
- Apply account management strategies to understand customer goals, address challenges, and support retention.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to reduce churn and improve customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and manage deals through the full renewal cycle.
- Monitor market trends and provide insights to enhance customer retention strategies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or Sales within the Industrial Software (CAD / CAM / CAE / PLM / Simulation), SaaS / Cloud, or B2B technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of contract renewal processes and customer lifecycle management.
- Proficient in data analysis using Excel (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP) and Power BI for forecasting and insights.
- Highly organized with strong time management, prioritization, and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel for customer or partner meetings as needed.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Vietnamese; additional SEA languages are a plus.
