Do you have a passion for modern Quality Management Systems (QMS), product lifecycle management, and digital transformation? Do you enjoy guiding customers and delivery teams through complex architectural decisions? If so, consider this opportunity with Siemens Digital Industries Software.
Overview
At Siemens, we empower innovation by bridging the digital and physical worlds. We are seeking a Product Architect for our Teamcenter Quality delivery practice to serve as a product architecture authority for complex and strategic quality-management engagements across the Americas. The role helps ensure that Teamcenter Quality solutions are designed and delivered with architectural integrity, consistency, scalability, and long-term sustainability.
The Product Architect provides deep Teamcenter Quality product expertise, governs product-specific architecture standards, and guides customers and Professional Services teams in the effective adoption and evolution of Siemens quality-management capabilities.
Your Impact
- Define, govern, and evolve product architecture standards and best practices for Teamcenter Quality solutions.
- Act as a product architecture authority for complex or strategic customer projects and programs.
- Guide customers through quality-management transformation and the adoption of integrated QMS capabilities.
- Enable scalable, repeatable, and high-quality Teamcenter Quality implementations across multiple engagements.
- Translate field experience into structured feedback for Product Development and Product Management.
- Mentor architects and consultants, strengthen the Teamcenter Quality practice, and advance reusable delivery assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Teamcenter Quality product architecture authority for complex and strategic engagements, guiding how the product is applied, integrated, scaled, and evolved across customer programs.
- Lead product-specific architecture, design and implementation activities that translate business and quality-management requirements into sustainable Teamcenter Quality solutions.
- Define and govern architecture standards, configuration approaches, integration patterns, reusable assets, and implementation best practices used by delivery teams.
- Partner with customers and internal stakeholders as a trusted technical advisor, balancing business outcomes, product strategy, delivery risk, and long-term maintainability.
- Provide architectural oversight, design reviews, technical guidance, and escalation support for high-impact projects.
- Collaborate productively with Consultants, Developers, Solution and Product Architects, Project Managers, Industry teams, Product Development, and other internal and external interfaces to support customer success.
- Support project and program planning through estimates, work-package definition, architecture risk assessment, scope clarification, and delivery-quality guidance.
- Provide implementation guidance for Teamcenter Quality capabilities, including solution configuration, deployment, and integration within multi-tier enterprise environments.
- Influence product direction by converting real-world implementation experience and customer needs into actionable feedback for Product Development and Product Management.
- Mentor consultants and architects, participate in Communities of Practice, and contribute to the creation and maintenance of Teamcenter Quality best practices, templates, and methods.
- Support strategic pursuits with expert product insight during discovery, solution positioning, validation, estimation, and risk assessment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong experience designing, implementing, configuring, or supporting enterprise Quality Management Systems (QMS) in a project environment.
- Demonstrated ability to translate customer requirements into product architecture, design documentation, configuration approaches, and implementation guidance.
- Experience with software development lifecycles, architecture and integration best practices, standards, and testing approaches.
- Experience with multi-tier enterprise applications and LAN/WAN-integrated systems and solutions.
- Proven ability to define and govern architecture standards and best practices used by others.
- Excellent customer-facing communication, facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently, lead technical workstreams, and guide cross-functional delivery teams without formal line authority.
- Willingness to travel 25-50% and work remotely or from a nearby Siemens office.
- Qualified applicants must be U.S. persons as defined by U.S. export control regulations (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident).
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Teamcenter and Teamcenter Quality, or closely related Siemens quality-management capabilities
- Knowledge of enterprise quality processes such as nonconformance, corrective and preventive action, quality planning, audit management, and quality issue management.
- Experience integrating Teamcenter Quality with Teamcenter, enterprise resource planning, manufacturing, laboratory, supplier, or other enterprise systems.
- Experience acting as a product architecture authority and leading architecture or design reviews.
- Demonstrated contributions to reusable assets, templates, best practices, Communities of Practice, or product-improvement initiatives.
- Experience estimating and planning specialist work packages and supporting project scope, schedule, cost, and quality management.
- Familiarity with continuous-improvement and quality methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or closed-loop quality.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
What Success Looks Like
- You are recognized as a trusted, go-to authority for QMS / Quality product architecture.
- Customer requirements are converted into clear, supportable, and sustainable product designs.
- Architectural risk, delivery variation, and rework are reduced through standards, reviews, and reusable best practices.
- Delivery teams receive timely architectural guidance and can implement Teamcenter Quality consistently across engagements.
- Customers trust your guidance on product usage, integration, architecture decisions, adoption, and long-term evolution.
- Field feedback is translated into meaningful product and practice improvements.
