Junior Business Project Administrator

About the team:

ST&T Lead to Order is at the heart of all our exciting initiatives and business transformation goals.  If you want to work in an exciting, fast paced, dynamic and highly successful team, then this is the place for you. Performs standard analyses of business goals, business systems and objectives. Plans and designs business processes with approved Tools and makes recommendations in order to improve and support business activities. Utilizes systems and data to resolve business issues in the most effective and productive manner. Works under moderate supervision.

Area of responsibility

  • Responsible for helping support strategic projects & process improvements across the Finance Operations team;
  • Work with the Global Siemens organisation in the process of implementing a new generation Salesforce (CPQ) Quoting tool and SAP ERP system (SAP S4 Hana) - Sherpa X;
  • Represent the team on several initiatives, collaborating positively with a significant number of cross functional/Global internal customers;
  • Coordinate cross functional meetings, to drive closure on specific topics/document minutes/prepare presentations/ensure follow through;
  • Assist with requirements gathering, documenting, and representing the business process preferences to IT and other partners;
  • Coordinate/facilitate cross functional reviews and workshops, to accommodate process redesign & re-engineering efforts;
  • Draft training documentation/work instructions/presentations;
  • Develop proposals & make sound recommendations based on expertise & drive decisions/corrective actions to satisfy business requirements.

Operating mode:

  • Hybrid model, 2 days per month in the office in Shannon;
  • Schedule flexibility, with ability to travel (role include up to 5% travel, domestic and international);
  • Fixed term employment - 12 months employment contract.

What do you need to realize what matters

  • 2 years’ experience working in a process development, project or relevant operational role desirable;
  • Strong digital literacy a pre-requisite (Outlook/Excel/Word/PowerPoint);
  • Any experience with project management software tools such as Jira/Focus Build an advantage;
  • Experience working within the 'Agile' and 'SAFe' framework is desirable;
  • Customer service-related experience required, ideally experience dealing with other countries & time zones;
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation & documentation skills;
  • Aptitude to understand the function of our partners and consider design impacts to all groups, ensuring an optimized solution;
  • Team oriented individual with a 'Can Do' attitude and a proven record of adaptability/flexibility;
  • Proven ability to multi-task efficiently, prioritizing & executing tasks while adapting to shifting priorities, demands and timelines;
  • Strong Self motivator with an eye towards continuous improvement;
  • Strong interpersonal & management skills, able to confidently represent the team at a variety of levels;
  • Degree in business or related discipline an advantage or alternatively substantial relative work experience.
