We are looking for a Build And Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Cairo, Egypt.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products.
  • Manage assigned releases and projects, including defining scope, plans, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Build and release help products.
  • Develop test plans and coordinate and execute QA testing.
  • Identify tools and processes to improve and facilitate production activities.
  • Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Write and update scripts to support and enhance production processes.
  • Support writing staff in using tools and processes.
  • Proactively communicate status on all projects and releases.
  • Apply appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and resolve technical problems.
  • Participate in special projects, marketing efforts, and formal proposals.

Requirements:

  • BSc./MSc. in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Proficiency in administering and troubleshooting Linux operating systems.
  • Excellent coding and scripting skills in C/C++, Perl, Python, and Bash.
  • Knowledge of SCM tools, such as Git (or any modern SCM like Perforce) and CVS.
  • Experience with build systems like GNU Make, CMake, and Bazel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with web development, including CGI, HTML, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Familiarity with release orchestration tools like GitLab and Jenkins is preferable.
  • Preferably has DevOps experience (CI/CD) with an understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts.
