We are seeking a highly motivated talent with the capability and desire to make a meaningful contribution to the IC design and manufacturing industry. The Product Engineer at Siemens EDA, Taiwan plays a meaningful role in the success of Siemens' customers as they craft the state-of-the-art IC products. Product Engineers will work with semiconductor foundries and R&D colleagues to tackle technical challenges in the areas of 3DIC related area. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support Siemens Calibre DRC and 3DStack related projects with leading foundry.
- Collaborate with R&D to build comprehensive, detailed requirement documents for feasible solution plans to meet the criteria that leading foundry requested. Follow through on these plans with R&D based on clear objectives and breakthroughs till projects are completed.
- Develop tutorial/training material and deliver product training to internal staff or external customers.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
- BS degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field is required. MS degree with above 4-years working experiences is highly desired.
- To have meaningful experience in the semiconductor IC design or EDA industry is a plus.
- Familiar with Calibre DRC tool is helpful and other Calibre tools is a bonus.
- Soiled and piratical experiences in Unix/Linux operating systems is needed
- Ability to speak and write in English proficient is preferred
- Skilled at script programming, Tcl, Perl, Python, shell, etc. would be nice to have.
