About the Role:
Siemens Digital Industries Software (DISW) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Operations Specialist to support our Opportunity to Order (O2O) processes in Pretoria, South Africa. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth sales operations by managing quoting, proposal creation, order validation, and partner support. You will work closely with account teams, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with global policies and efficient use of corporate tools.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
* Support account teams in the selling process through quoting and proposal creation.
* Monitor and manage the entire O2O workflow, from submission to billing and revenue recognition.
* Ensure order submission requirements are fulfilled, including payer setup and policy compliance.
* Handle complex queries related to products, pricing, licensing, and install data
* Maintain pricing agreements and support sales forecasting and tracking
* Provide training and support to internal users and partners on tools and processes.
* Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in local deployment of tools.
* Facilitate partner onboarding, demo license applications, and performance analysis.
* Ensure adherence to corporate policies and coordinate contract/legal approvals.
Qualifications:
* University degree or equivalent industrial experience
* Experience in a sales operations or O2O role, preferably in a multinational environment
* Strong understanding of sales processes, tools (CRM, O2O), and corporate policies
* Ability to manage complex workflows and resolve issues independently
* Experience in reporting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives
* Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
* Willingness to work extended hours during quarter-end or key project rollouts
