What you'll be doing as part of the Country Software Sales team in Spain
Team and context
The Country Software Sales organization is responsible for driving commercial growth and customer engagement across strategic markets in Spain. Within this context, the Educational Markets area focuses on strengthening Siemens Software's presence across universities, research centers, and academic institutions, helping expand adoption of digital engineering and smart manufacturing technologies.
Working closely with Account Orchestrators, portfolio teams, and other commercial stakeholders, the team supports subscription growth, portfolio expansion, and pipeline development across the education ecosystem, while building long-term relationships with institutions that shape the next generation of engineering talent.
Project description
This internship offers the opportunity to support commercial development activities within the education ecosystem in Spain. You will contribute to account development, stakeholder engagement, and pipeline-building activities across assigned universities, research centers, and selected strategic education accounts.
As part of the role, you will help maintain and grow existing academic relationships, support opportunity identification and account expansion planning, and contribute to positioning Siemens Software solutions aligned with Digital Thread and Smart Manufacturing use cases.
You will also support participation in academic events, help identify new opportunities for technology adoption within educational institutions, and contribute to commercial execution plans under the guidance of the sales team.
What we're looking for
We're seeking students in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar. If you are interested in commercial strategy, account development, customer engagement, and the role of technology in education and industry transformation, we want to hear from you!

Strong interest in sales, business development, customer engagement, or account support

Interest in technology, digital transformation, and how software solutions can support education and industry
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence interacting with different stakeholders
*
Ability to identify opportunities, think commercially, and support relationship-building activities
*
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
*
Proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, strong team spirit, and willingness to contribute to common objectives
*
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
*
Spanish fluency is highly valued; additional European languages are a plus
*
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
SSP Spain 2026, conditions & eligibility
Siemens Strategic Student Program (SSP) in Spain will run for 6 months. Depending on the university programs and the number of internship hours per academic cycle, renewals can be considered. Interns may also could write their bachelor's or master's thesis in cooperation with Siemens Digital Industries Software (DISW). Internships at Siemens Software are paid and interns receive an internship contribution.
Eligibility

Interns must be enrolled in a university in Spain and have at least 600 hours available from their university programs for internships
*
Applicants must be enrolled at a Spanish university for the entire duration of the program, including both Spanish and international students
*
Curricular and extracurricular internships are accepted, the university program must support the full six-month length of the internship
*
International students must have the proper visa and/or work permit to participate, as Siemens Software will not cover or facilitate visa or permit processes
