About the role / Segment

Join our team as “Quality Engineer” from our Siemens offices in Budapest, Hungary.

The Micred product line of electronic measurement instruments and measurement stations is looking for a Quality Engineer to be the owner of product quality related activities inside the manufacturing unit. This is a small team with diverse individuals, strengths and working styles, who all take pride in being flexible and supportive to each other for achieving their results.

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that product quality and the supporting quality processes are in line with the agreed quality targets. Additionally, the Quality Engineer regularly provides quality related information and drives quality related improvements. Additionally, the Test engineer is optionally involved in test process and test tool improvement projects.


You’ll help our customers drive digital innovation by

Experience in electronic measurements in medium complex measurement set-ups

Understanding of QA and metrology principles

Experience in evaluating and documenting measurement and calibration processes and results

Basic understanding of microelectronic devices

A structured and process-oriented personality with attention to detail and precision in work

Good and pro-active oral and written communication skills in English.

Profile Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering, computer science, informatics or equivalent

Experience in electronic measurements in medium complex measurement set-ups,

Experience in documentation of measurement and calibration processes and results,

Experience in HW troubleshooting and repair

Understanding of metrology principles

Experience in HW and SW development and/or electronics manufacturing is a plus

Structured, process oriented

Good and pro-active oral and written communication skills in English and Hungarian are required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Hungarian language is required
