Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software and hardware emulation.
This role provides a unique opportunity for a full-stack developer skilled in enterprise infrastructure operations. You will work as part of our global Platform Engineering team, simplifying self-service and operations for our global engineering infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
As Senior Software Engineer with 5+ year, your responsibilities will include:
*
Backend services: Design, implement, and operate platform components with an
emphasis on reliability, performance, and long-term maintainability
*
APIs: Build and evolve and control-plane services using TypeScript and Go for internal
and external consumers
*
Product owner: Own features end-to-end, from technical design and implementation through production
rollout, monitoring, and iterative improvement
*
System design: Contribute to discussions, evaluating trade-offs between simplicity,
scalability, and operational complexity
*
Monitoring, Logging & Alerting: Improve system operability by enhancing logging, metrics, alerting, and deployment workflows
*
Code quality: Participate in code reviews and design discussions, maintaining high standards for code
quality, testing, and documentation
*
Infrastructure Design & Implementation:  Design, provisioning, and management of highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
*
Automation & CI/CD: Develop, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Argo CD) to automate software delivery, testing, and deployment processes.
*
Containerization & Orchestration: Design, implement, and manage containerized application platforms using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring efficient resource utilization and operational stability.
Technical Experience
Backend & Systems
*
Hands-on experience building backend services in Python/Go and TypeScript, including APIs, background workers, and internal platform tooling
*
Practical understanding of distributed systems concepts such as failure handling, retries, idempotency, and eventual consistency
Frontend & Full-Stack
*
Advanced TypeScript experience building and maintaining production-grade applications
*
Experience with React and Next.js, including server-side rendering, API routes, and modern frontend architecture patterns
*
Strong focus on developer experience and maintainable, scalable frontend codebases
APIs & Developer Experience
*
Design and implementation of well-structured REST APIs with clear versioning, consistent error handling, and thorough documentation
*
Development of internal tools, SDKs, and CLIs that improve developer productivity and reduce operational friction
Qualifications:
*
5+ years of professional, enterprise software engineering experience shipping and operating production systems
*
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Go in real-world production environments
*
Experience building and maintaining applications with Next.js
*
Solid understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
*
Proven ability to own and deliver complex features from design through production
*
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
*
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, global, agile environment.
