The Siemens event team is seeking a dynamic digital program manager, reporting to the Digital Strategist, to drive the evolution of our event digital ecosystem. This is a unique opportunity to blend cutting-edge digital strategy with the art of in-person connection, shaping world-class programs that leave a lasting impact on our customers and partners worldwide. To achieve the significant impact this role demands, we expect:
Digital tools and technology
* Manage the registration, mobile app, website, and tool requirements across various internal, external, and third-party event programs.
* Serve as a go-to expert for our digital platforms and tools including cross-training team members on best practices to foster digital literacy and enhance overall team efficiency and collaboration.
* Oversee necessary integrations between 3rd party tools to elevate the customer experience and improve alignment to our customer advocacy and community teams.
* Benchmark against industry leaders and emerging technologies to consistently elevate our digital capabilities.
* Leverage AI technology to drive team efficiency and customer experience.
Elevate customer experiences
* Drive requirements to properly configure our technology to meet and exceed the experience requirements for registration paths, meeting tools, mobile app technologies, payment, wayfinding, networking experiences, and more.
* Measure and evaluate registration strategy to identify pain points for customers and potential growth opportunities.
* Proactively identify and mitigate digital risks to ensure seamless program execution and success.
Web and measurement
* Lead the improvement and customization of event web pages and define requirements (SEO, SEM, emerging technologies), ensuring consistent, mobile-responsive, accessible, and brand-aligned layouts and content across all global and local events.
* Utilize data to identify areas of opportunity. Collaborate on a data driven optimization roadmap in partnership with data teams.
* Develop and implement comprehensive pre-event measurement strategies, including surveys, baseline data collection, and other feedback mechanisms to inform optimization and strategy.
* Contribute to post-event reporting including presentation of data to stakeholders.
Event program and growth management
* Drive the vision and deployment of one-day user clubs including the digital roadmap and collaboration on execution.
* Collaborate with other internal leaders including field marketing, customer advocacy, community, customer success, and other teams to drive event alignment, engagement and growth.
* Research and implement engagement tactics to expand reach, attract new customer segments, and enhance the overall attendee experience.
* Evaluate risks and triage issues pre, onsite and post-event with a sharp eye for prioritization.
Skills and experience Requirement:
* Proven experience in digital strategy, marketing or event technology, and a strong track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement.
* Deep understanding of event registration platforms, CRM systems (especially for speakers/content), and marketing automation tools. Ability to quickly learn and master new technologies.
* Proficiency in data analysis, A/B testing methodologies, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and optimization strategies.
* Strong grasp of UX principles and interest in creating intuitive, user-centric digital and in-person experiences.
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
* A self-starter with a curious mind, always looking for opportunities to innovate, solve problems, and push the boundaries of digital event experiences.
Work conditions
* Work from home office remotely, or by local office.
* Travel up to 10-20% of the time (US and globally when needed).
