We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our STS team in Cairo, Egypt.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor the status of integrations into the codebase.
* Manage the build system, refactoring and addressing bugs as necessary.
* Work with the development team to ensure timely repairs.
* Occasionally submit reversions when the development team determines that a timely fix isn't available.
* Report machine failures to the responsible infrastructure team.
* Work with the Pipeline Operations team to revamp the build system and establish a more modular build pipeline.
Requirements:
* A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or training and experience equivalent.
* Strong understanding of Jenkins and automated build tools.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration build failures.
* Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Deployment processes is helpful.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
* Understanding of Python, Bash, and Batch scripting is essential.
* Understanding of Java, Groovy, and C++ is helpful.
* Exposure to Make build tools is helpful.
