About the Position:
As an Automotive Technical Account Manager (TAM) / Business Development Consultant, you will drive digital transformation and smart factory business growth for automotive customers in Korea. Leveraging the full Siemens Digital Industries Software (DISW) portfolio (CAD, PLM, BOM, Digital Manufacturing, etc.), you will act as an industry consultant and trusted technical partner to accelerate solution adoption and consumption across enterprise and mid-market accounts. Occasional support of other industries may be required within a general scope.
What are YOUR Responsibilities?
1. Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
Build and sustain trusted-advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders.
Discover customer needs and high-level requirements, translate them into account growth opportunities, and support increased usage of DISW solutions.
Expand networks within customer organizations to strengthen long-term partnerships and value realization.
2. Solution Advisor
Provide integrated, end-to-end solution guidance across CAD, PLM, BOM, and Digital Manufacturing processes aligned to customer challenges.
Continuously reflect global/local industry trends and Siemens portfolio/roadmap in customer strategies.
Lead account development activities (seminars, workshops, trainings, success-case sharing) and co-create references with partners.
3. Knowledge Sharing/Reuse and Practice Participation
Serve as an Application Lead in a defined expertise area, owning key technical discussions, benchmarks, and evaluations.
Capture and disseminate best practices and lessons learned across local and global communities.
Maintain up-to-date expertise in emerging technologies and automotive/industry trends, and apply them to customer engagements.
4. General
Comply with Siemens policies, core internal/customer processes, ethics, safety, and governance requirements.
Be willing to travel as needed for customer/project success.
Ensure timely and accurate administrative duties such as expense reporting and team contributions.
Primary Job Qualifications:
We are looking for a TAM with strong automotive domain focus who can strengthen technical partnerships with customers and ensure Siemens solutions contribute directly to their business objectives.
Key Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree required in Industrial Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Business, IT, or related fields. Master's/PhD preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 15 years of experience in automotive design/manufacturing functions or in PLM / digital manufacturing consulting and delivery.
Business and Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of Digital Transformation consulting, Process Innovation (PI), and Information Strategy Planning (ISP).
Solid knowledge of BOM/BOP/BOI concepts and DT technology stack including PLM, MES, ERP, IoT, AI, and cloud-based IT architectures.
Industrial Experience:
Broad exposure to discrete and/or process industries, with deep specialization and delivery experience in automotive.
Core Competencies:
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across internal and external teams.
Strong collaboration mindset and English communication (written and verbal).
