Position Overview:
As an Electronics Reliability Simulation Intern, you will support the development of Simcenter Simlab by evaluating existing workflows and helping build new ones for electronics reliability applications. You will also create supporting documentation and marketing content. Working under general supervision, you will contribute to complex projects, collaborate closely with senior engineers, and exercise independent judgment when appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Learn and apply Simcenter Simlab software for consumer electronics workflows
* Develop and enhance Multiphysics workflows that are new and existing in electronics reliability
* Test workflow performance and recommend improvements
* Build end to end tutorials in collaboration with cross functional teams
* Produce documentation, video assets, and presentation materials
* Contribute content for marketing initiatives and live events
* Assist Technical Product Managers with customer projects, including testing issues reported by customers
* Collaborate with lead application engineers, product definition team members and developers to ensure successful project implementation through testing & validation
Requirements:
* Currently enrolled as a first or second year Master's student in pursuit of a Mechanical Engineering degree (graduating in 2027)
* Comfortable working in a fully remote environment (preferably on the west coast, US) or hybrid if local to our Fremont, CA office
* Proficient in CAMTASIA or Video editing tools
* Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel PowerPoint)
* Python Scripting preferred
* Experience with Simcenter Simlab software and explicit /implicit simulation is a plus
* Experience in tools like Simcenter products (Optistruct,Radioss, Hypermesh and HEEDS) and 3D CAD (NX) modeling is a plus
* Familiarity with PCB design and 2.5D/3D IC technologies is a plus

The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location, as well as degree type and relevant education.
