Siemens EDA’s Digital Verification Technologies (DVT) division is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Frontend Web Development Engineer to join our DVT Creation, Static, and Formal R&D team in Cairo, Egypt.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve software components that meet high standards of quality, scalability, modifiability, extensibility, and testability.
- Ensure the functional quality of released products across all required platforms.
- Understand and work with complex products, solutions, and problems.
- Interpret product requirements, conduct experiments, and perform detailed analyses.
- Design, document, and implement software solutions, including complex workflows and multi-product areas.
- Collaborate with software developers, application engineers, and product owners to design and advance critical software areas.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in frontend web development.
- Familiarity with AIML is a plus.
- Proven experience in delivering complex and impactful frontend projects.
- Expertise in one or more frontend frameworks/libraries (React, Angular, Vue.js) with a deep understanding of their architecture and ecosystems.
- Mastery of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a strong grasp of modern ECMAScript (ES6+).
- Proficiency in CSS pre-processors like Sass or Less, with advanced techniques such as mixins, variables, and nesting for maintaining consistent styling.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
- Experience using UI design tools such as Figma.
- Solid understanding of design patterns and best practices in JavaScript development, including MVC and Redux.
- Ability to optimize frontend code for performance, scalability, and maintainability using techniques like lazy loading, code splitting, and caching.
- Proficiency in unit testing (e.g., Jasmine) and end-to-end testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills with a systematic approach to root cause analysis.
- Ability to drive innovation by proposing and implementing emerging frontend technologies and solutions.
- Strong commitment to staying updated on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in frontend development.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to work independently and effectively in multicultural, geographically distributed teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with state management tools like Redux in frontend applications.
- Proficiency with build tools and package managers such as Webpack, Gulp, Grunt, and npm.
- Familiarity with building microservices using gRPC and Protobuf.
- Experience with hardware description languages (SystemVerilog, VHDL, SystemC/C++).
- Experience with formal methods, including model checking, equivalence checking, and automated reasoning.
- Knowledge of parallel computing, distributed systems, and cloud services.
