We are looking for a highly motivated Software Development Engineer/DevOps Engineer to join our team in Poznań, Poland.

As a Software Development Engineer, you will participate in designing and implementing both the GUI front-end and back-end software that meets functionality, usability, reliability, performance, and supportability requirements. As a DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for development, modernization and maintenance of the build and test infrastructure used by the Tessent group in multiple sites (US/Canada, EU, India).

Required skills, knowledge and experience

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another related technical field.
  • Proven experience with software development using C++ (GCC-based tool chain) on Linux. Knowledge of C++17/20/23 standard features and Qt GUI framework is a PLUS.
  • Good scripting skills in Python. Knowledge of other scripting languages like Perl, Tcl, POSIX shell, PHP is a PLUS.
  • Experience with distributed version control systems Git, SVN and their related hosting tools.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration (CI) systems (e.g. Buildbot, Jenkins, GitLab) and Conan C++ package manager is a PLUS.
  • Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
