We're looking for a QA Test Engineer to join our team in Cairo, Egypt.
Responsibilities:
- Design, maintain, and execute comprehensive product test plans to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Create, execute, and document test cases while tracking and reporting test progress and results.
- Perform a wide range of testing activities, including integration, regression, licensing, installation, and GUI testing across multiple release cycles.
- Design and enhance test automation frameworks to reduce manual effort, improve test efficiency, and accelerate release timelines.
- Understand customer use cases and integrate customer designs into internal test environments to validate real-world scenarios.
- Conduct product benchmarking and performance evaluations to measure and compare tool performance across releases.
- Report, validate, and triage software defects by performing root cause analysis and assessing their impact and priority in collaboration with R&D teams.
- Utilize code coverage tools and techniques to evaluate test effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve overall test coverage.
Required experience/skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of digital design and RTL design fundamentals.
- Solid knowledge of one or more hardware description languages, such as Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog.
- Familiarity with Siemens EDA tools, including simulation, synthesis, design entry, or functional verification flows, is highly desirable.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or Python.
- Good understanding of software quality assurance principles and software testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with test strategies, test planning, and test automation tools.
- Experience with defect tracking systems, configuration management, and code profiling tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas and collaborate effectively across teams.

Our Benefits & Rewards
The salary range for this position is $23,900 to $47,800 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
