Overview

As part of our mission to drive digital transformation in manufacturing operations, we are seeking an Opcenter Execution Solution Architect to lead the deployment of industry best practice MES solutions across multiple industries. This role is central to helping our customers realize the full potential of the Digital Thread through Siemens' Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) and Opcenter Execution platforms.

Your Impact

• Define the architecture and deploy Siemens MES solutions, with a focus on Opcenter Execution.
• Guide customers through complex digital transformations, ensuring alignment with industry standards such as ISA-95.
• Facilitate workshops, document outcomes, and deliver scalable, value-driven solutions.
• Guide customer business process transformation to improve efficiency and adherence to best manufacturing practices.
• Define solution architectures and guide implementation teams in delivering MES solutions that provide measurable customer value.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide customers through architecture and implementation of MES solutions with an emphasis on the following capabilities: production dispatching, work order management, traceability, WIP tracking, resource and material management, and integration with ERP and automation systems.
• Lead customer workshops, capture business and technical requirements, and guide fit-gap analysis and solution validation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions across the Digital Thread.
• Support solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
• Investigate and resolve complex issues independently, applying creative problem-solving approaches.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practice development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and MES concepts.
• Familiarity with standards such as ISA-95.
• Experience deploying or supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Experience translating business requirements into solution designs and process-aligned architectures.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Willingness to travel 25-50% and work remotely or a nearby Siemens office.
• Qualified applicants must be U.S. persons as defined by U.S. export control regulations. A U.S. person includes a U.S. citizen or U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MES platforms such as Siemens Opcenter Execution is preferred, or SAP Digital Manufacturing, SAP ME, DELMIA Apriso, AVEVA MES (Wonderware MES), Rockwell FactoryTalk ProductionCentre, or other competitive solutions.
• Familiarity with business processes in one or more industries: Aerospace & Defense (primary), Automotive, Consumer Packaged Goods, Medical Device.
• Technical skills in one or more of the following: C#, Mendix, SQL, scripting languages, integration frameworks, database management.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Familiarity with enterprise software deployment frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience managing and administrating an MES platform.
