As part of our mission to drive digital transformation in manufacturing operations, we are seeking a Product Architect for our Opcenter Execution Discrete delivery practice. The Product Architect provides specialized product and technical expertise for the design and implementation of Opcenter Execution Discrete solutions. This role translates manufacturing and technical requirements into supportable product designs, performs and guides product configuration, development, and integration, and helps customers achieve sustainable value from their Manufacturing Execution System investments. The Product Architect works with customers, Implementation Consultants, Solution Architects, developers, project managers, and other Siemens teams to deliver scalable solutions that follow established product architecture standards and implementation practices.

Your Impact

Lead the architecture, configuration, development, integration, and deployment of Opcenter Execution Discrete solutions.
Apply deep product expertise to deliver scalable, supportable MES solutions aligned with customer requirements.
Provide hands-on technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Guide customers and project teams on product capabilities, best practices, and technical solution approaches.
Improve delivery quality and consistency through standards, reusable assets, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, develop, integrate, test, and deploy Opcenter Execution Discrete solutions.
Lead product-specific architecture and technical decisions, including fit-gap analysis, estimates, work packages, integrations, and development approaches.
Perform and guide development, design and code reviews, testing, deployment readiness, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Lead technical workstreams and mentor Implementation Consultants, developers, and customer resources.
Support escalated product, configuration, development, and integration issues.
Contribute reusable assets, standards, templates, best practices, and product feedback.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Experience designing, configuring, developing, integrating, testing, and deploying Manufacturing Execution Systems.Strong understanding of discrete manufacturing operations and MES concepts.
Experience with software development, SQL, scripting, system integration, databases, or related technologies.
Demonstrated ability to independently lead technical workstreams, solve complex technical problems, and guide implementation resources.
Strong customer-facing communication, documentation, and consulting skills.
Willingness to travel 25-50%.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution Discrete, Camstar Enterprise Platform, or Simatic IT.
Experience developing MES extensions, integrations, customizations, and interfaces.
Familiarity with C#, Mendix, REST APIs, web services, SQL, scripting, integration frameworks, and database technologies.
Experience integrating MES with ERP, PLM, automation, quality, warehouse, or manufacturing equipment systems.
Experience in Aerospace and Defense, Automotive, Industrial Machinery, Medical Device, or other discrete manufacturing industries.
Familiarity with ISA-95, AKM, APE, and Siemens delivery methodologies
Experience creating reusable technical assets, templates, standards, or accelerators.
