Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
Position Overview
Responsible for renewing, up-selling, and closing of maintenance/service/license contracts to a specific region or account. Increase renewal sales for assigned region or account(s). After the software sale, we offer our customers the option to always have access to the latest software versions without additional acquisition costs by signing a software maintenance contract, as well as taking advantage of our special support services. The goal of this position is to expand our software maintenance business in collaboration with our sales partners.
Activities & Responsibilities
- Independent sales management of software maintenance contracts
- Regular contact with relevant contacts at our Solution Partners
- Continuous, proficient consultation and training of Solution Partners on the topics of software maintenance and software configuration
- Crafting offers in salesforce.com
- Cross-departmental collaboration with colleagues from technical, sales, and global order management teams
- Handling contract cancellations
- Controlling/Reporting tasks (e.g., forecasts)
Requirements
- Bachelor1s degree or equivalent experience
- Sales experience preferred (SaaS)
- Strong affinity for the software industry
- Experience with Office applications, SAP, CRM, Salesforce is helpful
- Excellent internal and external communication skills
- Responsible and customer focused approach
- Target-oriented and independent working style
- Social competence in dealing with diverse and international teams
- Typically requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience.
Languages: English is required and other languages will be a plus
