Head of Depth Structure Controlling

This position leads financial analysis across business segments and newly acquired entities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of forecasts, operating results, and business plans. Provides strategic financial support to key stakeholders, delivering timely and actionable insights to inform decision-making. Operates with a high degree of independence, requiring minimal supervision.

Essential Functions:

• Lead in-depth financial analysis of trends, capital structure, assets, cash flow, and liabilities across business segments and newly acquired entities.
• Support business unit-level forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and overall business performance, playing a pivotal role in the development of recurring management reports.
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate and communicate the financial implications of strategic and operational decisions.
• Identify and drive opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiencies.
• Recommend and support implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance productivity and data accuracy.
• Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships within finance and across corporate functions.
• Execute a broad range of operational activities and special projects within area of expertise, as assigned by leadership.

• Demonstrates deep expertise in financial and reporting practices, tools, and processes, leveraging this knowledge to identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, and automation/digitalization.
• Analyzes and interprets both financial and non-financial metrics, identifying key performance drivers, explaining variances, and escalating significant issues to senior management.
• Possesses an advanced understanding of accounting principles and external reporting standards and terminology.
• Builds collaborative relationships across functions, earning trust and influencing stakeholders at all levels to achieve positive business outcomes.

• Prepares concise, high-impact presentations on complex topics, tailoring communication style to diverse audiences and demonstrating subject matter expertise.
• Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of acquisition and integration processes, including participation in due diligence and post-merger activities.
• Builds foundational understanding of financial systems and application landscapes, including data flows and interdependencies across platforms.

Education and Experience Requirement:

• Bachelor's in finance, accounting, or business required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• 8+ years relevant work experience required.
• Hyperion, Essbase/Smartview, SAP and Business Objects experience a plus.
• Location: US (Plano, TX preferred, but not required)
