Position Overview:

The DI SW Americas Customer Outcomes team is seeking a Business Operations Manager to head the Services Business Operations team. This role is responsible for leading and developing the Services Business Operations Team in support of the end to end services lifecycle across the services portfolio types and services business processes for GCO.

In this role, you will collaborate with Zone Services Leadership, CoP Leads, Project Managers, Engagement Managers, and other internal & external partners to support the services organization as they work to ensure the customer realizes the value of Siemens software. This position requires excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, as well as business and financial acumen.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading, developing, and monitoring Services Operations Specialists team, including onboarding, training, overseeing workload distribution, and providing overall guidance on execution of daily tasks.
  • Oversee business operations of executed services subcontracts.
  • Support zone SRC preparations and reporting needs
  • Oversee execution of zone initiatives around NGSA usage and tracking such as must win tracking and booked order reduction reporting.
  • Understand DI SW processes and policies to support and guide services team in conducting compliant business.
  • Act as zone SME for Certinia / SFDC tool usage for services.
  • Communicate and build relationships with internal and external contacts to collaborate on best practices and best support operational goals.
  • Assist Program and Project Managers to maintain accurate project information for financial and overall status tracking.
  • Ensure team performs services billing and invoicing as appropriate and ensure compliance with DI SW billing and revenue recognition guidelines.
  • Act as AMS Services OS Community of Practice (CoP) lead and Operations representative for relevant global NGSA CoPs.

Qualifications:

  • 10 years professional software services experience, preferably for a SaaS company
  • SFDC and Certinia experience, extensive experience with services PSA systems
  • Extensive experience with professional services contracts and financials
  • Ability to handle tough and ambiguous situations without conflict.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present sophisticated issues to varied audiences and optimally communicate information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask, managing many workstreams
  • Experience dealing with cross functional teams
  • Occasional travel may be required
