Siemens Digital Industries Software seeks a highly motivated and experienced individual as a Product Manager for Teamcenter Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) products. MBSE is a critical part of Teamcenter, the leading choice in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software, recently top ranked by Forrester Research with the highest score for offering and strategy.

This position will have direct responsibility for the definition and direction of MBSE products throughout all stages of the product lifecycle (concept through end-of-life). You will work with development, product marketing and sales on the product launch and go to market strategy to ensure that the product is successful in the marketplace upon release, you will develop pricing strategies and profit/loss analysis, identify and develop third party relationships, you will communicate with industry analysts regarding product plans and strategies.

Education: master’s degree in engineering or computer science

Experience:

  • 8+ years in software product development working with large customers in a Product Management role
  • Familiar with model and simulation driven technics (MBSE, MDD, MDO, etc.)
  • Familiar with systems engineering and industry standards in the domain
  • Familiar with embedded systems development
  • Knowledge of ECAD Electrical/Wiring design in Automotive and Aerospace
  • General experience: People Management, Understanding the Customer, Agile Development, Requirements Analysis, Pricing, Planning, Competitive Analysis, Financial Planning and Strategy
  • Functional domain knowledge/expertise: PLM, Systems Engineering, Behavioral modeling and simulation, embedded systems/software development, EDA/ECAD

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Preferred education and focus: master’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering
  • Preferred past experience: 5+ year as a Product Manager for PLM product
