Strategic Account Director - 385226

Position Overview

To develop and execute sales strategies and plans with a long-term focus on assigned global/strategic account(s).  Leads a WW team to support the customer’s business initiatives and global requirements. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following activities:

  • Develop the strategic business plan and sales strategies for enabling SEDA products and services
  • Generate targeted solutions and negotiate all customer agreements
  • Develop an in-depth technical execution plan towards achieving strategic objectives; manage and maintain continuity of plan with key SEDA stakeholders
  • Collaborate with SEDA executive leadership and Customer via regular management review meetings (MRMs) and technical review meetings (TRMs)
  • Develop and maintain high-level customer relationships
  • Provide leadership for the WW account team; establish a vision with measurable goals and objectives  Regularly review team results to hold team accountable while recognizing significant contributions

Skills and Abilities Required

  • Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills
  • Ability to establish a broad and deep understanding customer’s business relevant to SEDA vision/objectives
  • Self-motivated with proven communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated skills in strong organization project and task management
  • Collaborative problem-solver skills to overcome obstacles
  • Proficiency in business software applications (Tableu, SAP CRM, MS-Office)

Qualifications

•            8+ years of direct account management experience in electronic design or similar

•            Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

  • This role will be primarily on-site in San Jose, California
  • Moderate travel is expected

The total cash compensation range for this position is $210,300 to $420,600 with 40% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
