Role Background

  • As part of the Services management team, handle GDN DACH delivering high quality, commercially responsible, value-driven billable consulting business, sharing a point of view to meet the business’s goals. Provide mentorship in, and if appropriate, set the direction in own area of responsibility for designing and delivering Services business and operations.
  • Where appropriate, in partnership with the Country or Vertical Management team, support and chip in to the sales and services pipeline strategy, understanding the services contribution requirements.
  • Supervise allocated key projects/initiatives, effectively engaging to review effective Services delivery in line with business guidelines and Monitor customer satisfaction. Represent Siemens Industry Software on customer review boards for accounts, as appropriate, and provide a focus for customer relationship management.

Support a zero profit or support business operation, directly or significantly chipping in to business decisions, including opportunity win/loss cost control, business planning and mix, pipeline management, monitoring, and reporting.

Manage personnel decisions such as recruitment, training and development, performance management, etc. Participate in and, where appropriate, lead management meetings and, as appropriate, contribute to zone-level services meetings and/or councils nurturing issues and concerns.

Delivery Management

We require a Lead Service Delivery Management for DACH region [SPOC]

Project/Program delivery Monitoring and Reviews [Owner of the delivery DASHBOARD]

Monitor Migration Program office for DACH projects

Guiding program and project managers daily, Risk and Escalation Handling

Maintain and own overall dashboard of GDN leverage with DACH

Internal Stakeholders Management

Resource demand and operations

Maintain visibility

External Stakeholders Management

Expectation management

Delivery DASHBOARD for vertical, program and zone-level leadership

Engagement/Business Management [Support]

Business Management Support

Opportunity Management and SFDC Dashboard analysis

Derive demand and maintain FCST

Engagement Management [Support]

Support Promoting and Selling(cross-selling) GDN services

Engagement Architecting along with GDN EMs

People Management

People Development

Identify and Coach Successor & Mentor PMs

Awards and Recognition for the project team members

Initiatives

Work on POCs for new deals

Run POCs/ Pilot for new service offerings

Keep mentoring the program Managers

Internal and External Customer Management

Continues engagement with customers with feedback (CASAT)

Visits and Presentation

Manage relationship and ongoing communication

Management Reporting and Presentations

Monthly and Quarterly Presentations – Delivery highlights & Monthly Cost cover with forecast vs actual

Participation in leadership meetings

Work experience:

Over 15 years of service delivery experience of delivering fixed price and staff aug projects

Proven 5-7 years of experience running MOM or PLM Programs. Min 50+ people

Management of at least two large PLM programs

Good knowledge of PLM products

Knowledge of basics concepts of engagement management

Basic understanding of Costing

Past working experience with customers from the German region is a plus.
