Employer: Siemens Industry Software Inc, Job Title: Senior Applications Engineer [MULTIPLE POSITIONS] Job Location: Plano, TX and various and unanticipated locations in the U.S. Job Type: Full Time Duties: Work with sales and field technical team members to lead, define, and implement the technical engagements in the area of DFT (Design For Test), Diagnosis, And Yield Analysis to drive sales campaigns; Drive Tessent platform Diagnosis And Yield Analysis products into customer projects through deployment by creating methodology and flows; Develop infrastructure and integration into a customer’s environment; Identify pilot projects for tool use; Debug and bring-up new methodologies and flows; Work with customers to assess their needs and technical/business motivations for diagnosing silicon failures; Assess the suitability of customers’ designs as diagnosis vehicles, based on test methodology, die size, and manufacturing volumes; Train and assist customers with setting up scripted flows to enable proof-of-concept and diagnosis tool evaluations; Train and assist customers in transitioning from low-volume to high-volume diagnosis for yield improvement; Train and assist customers with statistical analysis of high-volume diagnosis results to ascertain dominant causes of yield loss and drive corrective actions in the foundry; Assess customer technical and business requirements; Qualify new opportunities; Determine the technical viability of a lead and strategize the opportunity clearly with the sales team; Provide technical leadership for assigned accounts. Requirements: The employer will accept a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering or related field, and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. The position requires experience in the following: Working with Tessent Baseline and Diagnosis products including Tessent TestKompress, Tessent ATPG, Tessent MBIST, Tessent Boundary Scan, and Tessent Yield Insight; Performing statistical analysis of high-volume diagnosis; Working with silicon design and manufacturing lifecycle; Working with scan architectures, fault models and ATPG methods; Physical design formats and chiefly LEF/DEF; Working with industry ATE production test methods; Electrical behavior of various silicon defect types during ATE testing, and the respective test conditions required for detection. 75% telecommuting is permitted. 25% domestic travel is required.
