Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Business Partnering (HRBP)

  • Partner with business leaders and managers to understand their strategic goals and align HR initiatives to drive business performance.
  • Act as a trusted coach and advisor to line managers on talent management, leadership development, organizational design, and change management.
  • Partner with recruiting and Learning & Development functions to assist managers in identifying and meeting their talent needs
  • Leverage data and insights (such as pulse checks and engagement surveys) to identify organizational trends and proactively deliver actionable solutions.

Employee Relations (ER) & Compliance

  • Lead and manage employee relations issues, providing robust conflict resolution, disciplinary guidance, and grievance handling with fairness and objectivity.
  • Proactively mitigate labor risks by staying up-to-date with Korean Labor Law and compliance standards, updating internal regulations (e.g., Rules of Employment) as needed.
  • Foster a healthy, transparent, and compliant workplace culture by balancing company policy with an employee-centric approach.

Employee Experience & Engagement

• Champion engagement and cultural initiatives that reinforce company values and foster a high-performance environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR Generalist or HRBP experience, ideally within a multinational or matrix-structured organization.
  • ER Expertise: Proven track record of successfully managing employee relations, conflict resolution, and solid knowledge of Korean Labor Law.
  • Communication & Influence: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English. Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and build trust with diverse stakeholders across a matrix environment.
  • Mindset: Strategic partnering capability combined with a hands-on operational execution mindset.
  • Adaptability: High emotional intelligence, resilience, and comfort in navigating ambiguity and organizational change.
