Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Bellevue, WA is $110,635.00-$157,700.00 per year and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Design, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products (both internal and external) with focus on surpassing customers’ expectations by achieving high quality and on time delivery. Responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanisms. Ability to understand products, solutions, and problems. Create, document, and execute software designs, which may involve workflows or multiple product areas. Develop software solutions for design engineers using geometry knowledge and mechanical product design concepts. Create tools that make design creation and validation faster and intuitive. Use knowledge about engineering bill of materials (EBOM) to highlight relations and issues between piece parts in an assembly. Utilize knowledge of simulation solvers to link design parameters to simulation results. Develop solutions for validating manufacturing requirements using product manufacturing information (PMI) and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Develop solutions to establish and manage connections between CAD design and simulation tools to validate mechanical product design. Implement easy to understand and easy to navigate functionality on the mechanical CAD design to visualize its overall status. Troubleshoot issues faced by customers (mostly mechanical engineers), suggest best practices and fix software defects identified by them.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupation.

Position requires 2 years of experience in the following:

1. Working with C and C++ programming.

2. Coding standards, software lifecycle process, testing and performance optimization.

3. Utilizing Object-oriented programming concepts, data structures and algorithms.

4. Working with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software tools.

5. Working with Mechanical Design, Geometric dimensioning and tolerance concepts.

6. Troubleshooting technical issues using CAD software and advising solutions.

Telecommuting may be permissible pursuant to company policy.
