Duties:    Responsible for Mixed-Signal Simulation, including creating advanced requirement specifications; guiding or delegating the adequate resources to debug the most technically challenging issues, and creating specifications for new features and enhancements to improve use-model; working closely with R&D to prioritize the bugs that are coming from customers, the field and QA, analyzing the issues and proposing solutions and workarounds \ before a fix can be developed and working on enhancements; guiding or locating the resources to debug the most complex and challenging issues when migrating customers from older solutions to the state of the art flows and proposing ways to make the migration more seamless; creating cloned testcases for R&D to help with their incremental targets when implementing complex tools and features; and developing advanced training material for the field engineers to help explain new features and how they can be used.; Overseeing the team to develop technical relationships at a peer-to-peer level with their QA, R&D, account teams and customers; Driving the team to develop and deliver technical presentations on new features and product updates; Mentoring and coaching direct reports to help with their career plans and goals; Providing constructive/timely feedback to help direct reports grow as product engineers.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or in a related field and 84 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Up to 95% telecommuting permitted within commutable distance. 

Position requires experience in the following:

1.       Mixed-Signal simulation flow and mixed-signal simulation tools. 

2.       Analog (SPICE) simulators and analog design/verification. 

3.       Digital simulators and Hardware Description Languages (HDL) and digital design/verification. 

4.       Determining requirements for Mixed-Signal simulators features, for digital simulator Real Number Modeling (RNM) features, and for features related to Mixed-Signal debugging platforms. 

5.       Debugging mixed-signal designs and verification flows, identifying problems and suggesting solutions in the software/design and in the testbench setup or verification flow 

6.       Working with Mixed-Signal simulator issues including bugs and enhancements coming from internal and external groups
