Information Developer (Technical Writer) - Advanced (Remote) - 315479

Do you have a Computer Science or PLM software background? Do you have a talent for learning complex software and conveying that information to customers in a simple and effective manner? If yes, consider a career as an Information Developer (technical writer) for the Teamcenter suite of SaaS products.

Teamcenter is a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform that manages data and processes associated with the design and manufacture of a wide range of products from the Mars rover to golf clubs. It manages the lifecycles of such diverse products by being highly configurable. Customers can configure our software to implement their unique business processes. They can also choose from packaged SaaS solutions that meet specific, pre-defined business needs. The power of Teamcenter is that it manages everything from simple CAD data workflows to the end-to-end digital product thread.

As an Information Developer, your job is to ensure that customers quickly realize value from purchasing Teamcenter SaaS products. Your ability to develop real-world use cases and task-based usage information is critical to onboarding SaaS customers. Our global development staff and customer service teams are your partners in this endeavor. Other responsibilities include developing videos, illustrating flows, and designing reference material that contributes to the success of internal and external customers.

Our ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:

· PLM software industry knowledge, or experience working with a PLM system

· Highly technical writing experience

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Outstanding investigative research skills

· Proven project management experience

· BS in a technical discipline (such as Computer Science, Engineering), BA in Communications, or commensurate experience
