We are looking for a Partner Development Executive for PreSales and Technical Enablement to work within our Global Partner Development organization and with our partner community to develop technical enablement programs that extend partner capabilities resulting in greater revenue and market share. You will play a crucial role developing then executing strategy and programs that will support our partners and their customers with technical certification, specialization, and best practices within context of our value-centric solution approach and SaaS/XaaS go-to-market business model.
This exciting opportunity provides visibility, influence and leadership across Siemens Digital Industries Software and the global partner ecosystem. This role calls for a balance of leadership, influence skills, and individual contributions. You must be able to work well under pressure, have low ego, operate with high confidence and interpersonal awareness, the willingness and ability to partner effectively with diverse stakeholders, successfully deliver impact under tight deadlines, and must function with the agility to succeed despite high ambiguity and uncertainty.
•Provide thought leadership for partner PreSales, software demo, and technical programs resulting in increased opportunity closed-won rate and increased partner revenue
•Develop vision, strategy, and programs to guide partners in the adoption cloud-based software demo methods to the benefit of their customer base
•Foster a PreSales climate of value-centric and outcome-focused PreSales activities and motions
•Responsible for end-to-end partner PreSales development program creation and implementation
•Be the partner PreSales subject matter expert (SME)
•Program Management, governance, and process

•Creation and qualification of technical certification categories
•Coaching field teams to improve technical acumen in the partner community
•Developing and delivering partner software demo enablement sessions

•Ensure partners are aware of how to achieve maximum value from the Siemens solution portfolio as it relates to different market segments and industries
•Be an advocate for change in the Siemens business transformation to XaaS
•Drive definition of the ideal customer for different market/solution configurations as they relate to new solution and industry development opportunities
•Create internal and partner feedback loops to facilitate incremental program quality improvements
•Aspire to be trusted right-hand counsellor and confident to senior partner executives
•Manage all related financial aspects, e.g., assigned budgets to ensure programs stay within allocated limits
•Work effectively at managing programs in a highly matrixed organization
•Partner with the Global VP Partner Sales, VP Partner Sales Enablement, Global Learning and Development, Solution Business Units, Industry Leads, Regional Partner Leads, and other leaders to further refine structure, systems, and resources to successfully support our partners
•Be a recognized thought leader in PreSales solutions and industry enablement as well as an expert on best practices relating to driving all aspects of technical PreSales partner capabilities
•Represent the global partner PreSales requirements and perspective with the Siemens Global PreSales Council, a thought leadership council driving PreSales policy, tools, and resources
•Drive alignment with global and regional development business colleagues for mutual success
•Identify and lead Siemens and partner resources to maximize the customer experience
•Work collaboratively with internal teams and business units to align priorities, partner needs, and opportunities
•7+ years of providing consultancy and delivering enablement to B2B SaaS companies
•Working knowledge, and advanced-level understanding of, subscriptions and SaaS business model – LAER (Land, Adopt, Expand and Renew).
•Working knowledge and advanced-level understanding of SaaS/XaaS/Applications versus PaaS/Platform i.e. service capabilities differentiation between the two.
•A strong career background in specialization development and deployment in the PLM or broader software space
•Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college (strongly prefer Master’s degree)
•Must be able to effectively work remotely
