Position Summary

The Portfolio Development Executive (PfD) will be responsible to develop and execute the Mendix portfolio go to market strategy for South America region working in close collaboration with Sales teams and partners. Mendix is an industry leading, all-in-one, low-code application development platform that helps organizations build multi-experience, enterprise grade applications at scale.

As part of the South America organization, a Mendix domain PfD must assist in driving the continuous pipeline creation across all industries through the identification of target accounts and execution of campaigns in key industries with strong focus in the business growth goals for the portfolio in the region.

To achieve success, an Mendix PfD will be responsible to build and maintain the portfolio business plan that is aligned with the Country and Sales Leadership strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with Sales, Sales Leadership, Channel and Portfolio Development teams on account and territory planning
  • Leverage your in-depth understanding of low-code platforms to effectively communicate technical advantages and benefits to potential clients.
  • Drive strategic business conversations with the key customer’s representatives using a value-oriented approach to articulate Siemens’ value proposition and be considered a trusted advisor in the Low-code application development platform area
  • Be able to express the company’s business value in non-technical terms (then if required, at a more technical level)
  • Ability to identify business needs conducting customer assessment and develop impactful value proposition leveraging the Siemens broad industry digitalization portfolio of software.
  • Provide guidance to clients on integrating low-code solutions into their existing IT infrastructure.
  • Drive campaigns execution with Industry, Marketing and Sales teams in alignment with the region strategy consistently supporting the business development of the portfolio ensuring the growth targets are met.
  • Deliver campaign and initiative materials to prospects and customers tailoring the message as required.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Must have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of Sales, Business Development or Pre-sales Consultancy experience with Low-Code application development platform with solid IT technology background.
  • Demonstrated success in engaging and selling to C-Level executives.
  • In-depth knowledge of low-code development principles and practices with previous proven experience
  • Experience with Cloud architectures, data integration, database management, programming Skills and AI.
  • Desirable practical experience on implementing and deploying low-code solutions.
  • Industry background with knowledge on automation solutions and shop-floor connectivity is a plus.
  • Consultancy background and Industry Value Advisor skills are a plus with proven experience.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Be available to travel 30% to 50% of the time
  • BS/Computer Science/Engineering degree required

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Advanced/Fluente level of English 
  • Spanish is a plus
  • Multi software-solution and multi-industry experience is a plus
  • Software Development and Project Implementation methodologies
  • MBA Preferred
