Job and Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our startup team, Advanced Innovation Applications, who loves to develop innovative and creative applications that delight users and transform our customers’ businesses. You will be developing Mendix low code-based applications that will interface with one or more Siemens Portfolio products. You will have the opportunity to learn and work with a wide array of products leveraging different products and technologies, including and not limited to Product Lifecycle Management, Simulation, Industrial Edge, IIoT, Factory Automation.

  • You will be evaluating new application candidate ideas for technical feasibility and technical risks and propose potential solutions.
  • You will collaborate with and support development teams as needed.
  • You will be supporting cross-functional teams and responsibilities such as infrastructure, operations, enterprise architecture, info security.
  • You manage time effectively and successfully engage in and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Working with other development teams on complex implementation challenges around security, integration, data modeling, app performance, deployment strategies, and more.
  • You will have the opportunity to participate and contribute to the go-to-market activities of the application, including - defining pricing, licensing, marketing, deployment, and support models.
  • Solve technical challenges by finding innovative technology solutions.
  • Get trained (and certified) in the Mendix Platform and get up to speed on state-of-the-art Mendix Cloud architecture, deployment, and integration possibilities.
  • This role requires to be up to date with the Mendix Platform architecture and stay up to date with the newest developments.

  • You are a creative problem solver who loves technology and applying/evaluating it to solve complex problems.
  • You love collaborating with external and internal customers.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or other related discipline required.
  • You have 2+ years of experience in Enterprise software development or implementation. (Nice to have)
  • You are familiar with Agile software development practices. (Nice to have)
  • You have professional experience with Java and web technologies. (Nice to have)

The salary range for this position is $116,900 to $210,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
